Ask for it by name. Otherwise I would avoid Purina feeds as there have been contamination issues in the past.

The multiflock is 18% and is reccomended for broilers after 30 days of age

None of our mills make it, believe it or not, but that's probably because I'm in Canada not the USA and I was less than impressed last time I went the mill mill in Madoc with the quality of their feed.

The starter/grower is 20% and is recommended for broilers up until 30 days of age.

Our purina mill does not carry those foods/protein levels, our flock raiser is 18%, we don't have a grower complete locally. We use only Purina feeds and we've had really good experience with them, Purina CANADA that is. Until we took Luna off grain she was eating Purina grains and the layers are on Layena which I have had really good experience with OVER our other locally produced mill whose quality I'm not impressed with.

If those were my options, I'd grab some of the 20% starter/grower and feed it to them their entire lives.

Also to respond to what you asked earlier, we do have TSC but all they sell is TizWhiz and its very bad quality food, they're not a real farm store here.

I'm probably doing it all wrong but my cornish seem to be progressing okay. We don't want them to get huge too fast because we really want to wait until they are 10 weeks old to process them. We gave them starter and then put them on grower. Our feed store didn't have broiler food and this is what they suggested.

So far their legs are holding up. I hope they continue to do so for another 3 weeks or so. I am limiting what I feed them.
