Actually, it just occurred to me...I wonder if there isn't something out there that could retard the growth of these types of "fast-grow" fowl. Like people with hormone issues that take medications to reduce the amount of growth hormones released by their pituitary glands. I'm not really sure WHAT it is that causes these birds to grow at the rate they do- but maybe researching that could help you out. It is obviously a genetics thing- but it may be reversible or at least something you could retard with feed or meds(or maybe a surgery?). Good luck!
