Let's post pictures of our Cornish Cross at the time of processing. How big were yours?

This big.

We're too busy to do pictures.

We did our thirty-four today. They were sixty-five days old. I weighed two batches of three, and they averaged ten pounds. After they were cleaned, I weighed the four birds I was going to part-up, and they averaged seven-and-a-half pounds. Each half of the breast was one pound.

I have two pictures from when they were four weeks old...

The Cork and the Silver-Spangled Hamburg cockerel (our bonus from McMurray) are the same age.

Nice weights! Ours were 54 days old. I knew we would give up some weight, but that was when the processing equipment was available.
