Cornish X project

Hi I’m currently doing an experiment with a Cornish X and hoping to see if it can live free range. I was hoping to post the updates here and share how he’s doing.

Here’s Igor, my one month old Cornish X, with some of the chicks that he was raised with. I believe he is a male but any gender confirmations are appreciated. I hope you enjoy his journey to having a free ranged life!

I can appreciate your theory but at the size he is already, he likely will not have good health for too much longer. Maybe 4 months. You can totally give him a great life but a short lifespan is the reality for cornish x. I'm sorry.

Okay I’m still going to try though. I really just want him to cross with some of my hens

Also he was in a dog crate for two weeks if that would influence size at all
