This is my first round of meat birds, I only have a dozen and it looks like half are roos. They are about 5 weeks and everything has gone great until they started attacking each other this morning. I certainly don't have the ability to separate them all but I don't want them killing each other either, please help!

You may not wish to watch, but in a few hours or maybe days they will likely figure out who's who and get along better with each other. However if you're traumatized now, what will you be like when it comes time to make chicken nuggets?
Haha! I won't be sad when it's time to make nuggets! I just don't want them killing each other first! They were ripping at each other pretty good and drawing blood. I had to pull the biggest bully for a bit. It calmed down when the day got hot. I left the feed in tonight in hope they won't get hangery in the morning but I don't want them overeating either

Was the food depleted when they were fighting. These are voracious eaters... i never did the 12/12 feed restrictions, but i did let them get big fat and juicy. Processed usuallyyin 45 days. Mine never fought. Too fat and happy i guess. I did lose a few here and there from various issues.
Try full feed forca day or two.... maybe the fatties were just hungry. ;)

Thank you! I actually did try the full time feeding thing because I didn't know what else to do. It worked! I guess 12 hours was too long to wait poor fatties I still have the same number as when I started so I'm happy. 2 weeks to go!
