cornish

Also, do you know if the ones from ideal are less expensive than the ones from cackle. The reason I want to go with cackle is just because they are cheaper than mcmurray. And unlike meyer they don't say they don't do good without suplemented feed.

I just checked the prices from both ideal and cackle. Cackle is cheaper, but I don't know how much shipping is.

Ideal's shipping is $0.15 per chick, minimum order is $25. No minimum on numbers as far as I know.

WOW, sounds good. I think they might have one more customer this spring. I have to check cackles shipping.

My Cornish are from McMurray and ideal. They free range right along with the rest without any problems. I will have to say I have picked up the Cornish and my other breeds and in the dark you know when you have a Cornish. They will weight like a brick compared to the other breeds the same age.

I hadn't realized I'd been asked more about my cornish lol. About 1/3 of all my bird's diet is foraged. I would say less, but there's no way they are actually living on the amount of food they are eating. So forage has to be more substantial that I thought it would in this large city lot.
