Yep, I saw that website too somewhere, dont remember where though. And like you said, the did look like Blue Columbian instead of Lavender Columbian and I believe they were here in the US too.

Found it! Right here in NC

You can tell they are B/B/S columbians. Especially with that nearly white rooster. He must be a splash.

Ha I knew I found where someone was working on them, may have been in the Brahma thread if you were talking about it there. Good luck with them and keep us posted. How far along are you now ?

I'm not even started.

I've been thinking about it for some time. But have had rotton luck finding some real nice Brahmas.

Got some sources for the Coronation. Have to finish paying off my new truck first. Should be getting some birds to start in the next month or so. I'll update as I go along I'm sure.

Used what I had and been working on and very proud of them.

Thanks for the compliments!

Oh and as you should be, they are beautiful birds. Wasnt meanin any disrespect, just wanted to throw that out there as a suggestion and for anyone eles planning a similar project, its best to breed to the best typed birds you can find to get the type faster, but if the laves were all you had, then thats fine too.

Nice job and do you have any updated pics of older birds ?

No disrespect taken! Used my lavender birds that I have been working on for type and color. Will update and offer more later.

How is your project going?
