Anyone created or planning on creating this breed?

White Orpingtons are hard to find and Light Colombians would be even harder to find.

How in the world anyone can create this color out of the Orpingtons? I love their fuffy butts!

I bet Jody probably can create one!

Coronation Sussex x Columbian Orpington, breed the F1s together and select the 25% Coronation offspring. Then repeat the cycle over enough times until you reach your goal.

Nice thought but I have never seen a columbian orpington, I don't think they exist, at least not here in the US??

Buff Columbians would also work, do they exist?

That I am aware of there are NO Columbians of any type in orpingtons here in the US. I have not heard of anyone working on them either.

If all your looking for is that color on a Orpington the you could try this.
Since Orpingtons already have Plymouth Rocks in them you could just cross a Columbian Rock rooster over Blue Orpington hens, there F1 offspring should be Black and Blue.
Cross your Columbian Rock rooster over your best type F1 Blue offspring and there F2 offspring should be Black, Blue, Columbian and "Blue Columbian".
Cross your Columbian Rock rooster over your best type F2 Blue Columbian offspring and there F3 offspring should be Columbian and "Blue Columbian".
Now take your best F3 Columbian rooster and cross him with your best "Blue Columbian" hens and you should get more Columbian and "Blue Columbian".

I will try to get a picture of one of my "Blue Columbian" crosses and post it on here.

You can also do the same to make coronation.
Coro Sussex X Black Orp
Coro Sussex X F1 Females
Coro Orp x Coro Orp and improve shape and size to get more typey bird.
This can be done with any black birds it doesnt just have to be an orp. Also you will also get buff, regular, and isabel columbian.

Coronation Orpingtons:
Go to BigBlue's website he already has them! Phillips acres I believe it is. Anything that is thought of has already been done but not everyone tells what they have done.

Well that is doable but keeping the Orpington type would be a challenge itself! Finding Black Orp are not a problem. I'd rather have someone who had started in it and take it from there!

I love the color of Coronation but Sussex breed looked rather "beefy" while the Orps got the "feathering kind" or alot of fluff to them. At least we don't have to weed out yellow legs because Orps and Sussex are white leggers.
