I have a coronation sussex hen that is over 34 weeks of age and hasn't layed one egg. Do coronations lay at a longer time because of the size of the breed? Or is it possibly just the daylight hours? I know chickens generally lay between 22-26 weeks of age. Thanks for any help or comments.

I recall going to a breeder's home last winter. He had Coronation Sussex from Greenfire. They were 8 months old and had not started to lay. I believe they were close to 9 months old when they started. Don't give up yet!
