coronation sussex

Help- i'm new at this and need to know if anyone has experience with coronation sussex. I'm looking for a good friendly egg layer. to be part of a flock of around 10 mixed chickens. ....Got any advice?

I love my coronations, the roo is a bit of a clown, he thinks he is a hen and sits on the nest periodically, is a dignified, fellow but not overly friendly. The eggs are getting progressively larger and the hens go broody once in awhile. I think they are a wonderful dual purpose breed. We plan to let some hatch and eat some of the cockerels this fall or winter. They are supposed to be rather tasty table birds.
