coronation sussex

Thing is, white legs are dominant. It shouldn't be too hard to get a proper white legged Coronation but yeah, you might possibly have a bad bird with yellow legs but personally I don't see how or why. If one wants to reintroduce Lavender they could use Orpingtons, which also are white legged.

Yellow legs are hard to breed out. If this is a true yellow leggedSussex and not a white legged Sussex which just hasn't matured into its white legs yet, ...incorporating it into your breeding program could cause leg color problems.

What is a quality source for Coronation Sussex? I'd like to breed these birds at home but not inferior stock. So, has anyone in the US been able to import the Australian line with the lavender gene? If not, where am I most likely to get good quality? Thanks!
