Corrid dosage? For 6 week old chicks

It's 8oz. I crushed up kid probiotics and put it in the water since I saw bloody poop, that seems to have stopped it mostly. Only 1 bloody poop in last 24 hrs. Some kinda orangey ones. I got Corid in case. Idk what else it could be.

Four cups to one quart.
Eight ounces to one cup.

So the amount of powder I would use is 1/8 teaspoon per cup (8 ounces).

Think about getting a quart size waterer, 'cause it will make this sort of thing much easier.

I know I have a gallon and the next size down. I was just trying to maximize space and water waste. I'll put the smaller waterer in when my 1 yr old is done napping. I'm just unsure the size of it, but I guess I can just put a quart of water in it. Thank you :)

Stop probiotics and give Corid for five days. Get the quart waterer and day six give 1/8 teaspoon per quart for 7-14 days.

Does that make sense?

Please do measure it. :)

I just made me a half a quart waterer for them. So I put 1/4 tsp in it. I cut a cup and put it in one od my kids little shallow bowls, easy enough. I would've made a quart, but didn't have a big enough cup.

I stopped probiotics and she's now had another couple blood poops. She's still acting fine. Do you know about how long it takes for the blood to stop?

2-3 days if it's a strain of coccidiosis that is sensitive to Corid.
Okay. Still not as bloody as it was, but now some of the poops are like kinda clear liquid mixed with urates . Idk what her issue is. Hoping it's from the meds. I'm cruising around web looking.
