I have a 1.5 year old chicken with coccidia. The vet tested her poop today.

I have Corrid powder, but she is not drinking water right now. How should I treat her with this? I can't seem to find good information on it.

Also, is it safe for young pullets? I was told to treat my entire flock, but I have 6 & 8 week olds that I'm worried about. We only have one symptomatic chicken, and she is currently isolated from the others.

Thanks.

2 teaspoons added to one gallon of water
Mix a new batch each day.
Use that water for the entire flock...it won't hurt anyone.
Do this for 7 straight days.

For the very sick bird:
Mix one half teaspoon of Corid with 2 teaspoons of water and give her 4 drops of that small batch of mixed solution 3 times a day for 3 days including letting her drink the main mixed water batch.
Mix a new batch of this each day too.

After you finish the 7 day treatment give the entire flock poultry vitamins for a couple of days.

BTW...She doesn't not need to be removed from the flock.
They ALL have already been exposed to the Cocci...it lives EVERYWHERE.

Thank you so so much! It's been exhausting trying to figure it out on my own.
