We have done a lovely coop for our cortinex... Put logs in for them to fly around on.. Like the calis... But they aren't using them? Do they not like to go high?

most coturnix prefer ground dwelling.....the can flush 10+ft and fly for short bursts. some will use ramps but most of mine prefer under a coop to in one.

I don’t know if new world quail can perch, but Coturnix can’t grasp with any real strength so they would feel unsteady on high branches.

Thank you guys. New worlds love branches and perching! They fly around and all sorts. So our calis and bobwhites love their branches!! Ohh well take them out of there and pop in a few ramps then instead. Xx
