coryza?? gapeworm?? not sure?? please help

I have 18 month old red cochin that doesn't look quite right. swollen around both eyes, shaking head and stretching neck out opening beak wide. eating fine, scratching around, no wheezing or discharge. any quesses?

1) What type of bird , age and weight.
2) What is the behavior, exactly.
3) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
4) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation?
5) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
6) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
7) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
8) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
9) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
10) Describe the housing/bedding in use

That's true, but based on the over all cases,time of year and Sound of the matter, I would think it is probably some form of mycoplasma(gallisepticum)
Or Chronic Respiratory Disease. There has been a run on it this year on this forum, and every year this time of year.
More detail will help for sure, but gaping, and swollen eyes, are distinct tell tale signs of it.
It is contagious and antibiotics that treat Mycoplasma out breaks should be started as soon as possible.

You can check for gap worms by watching the birds. When you see one shaking its head, catch it up, open the mouth and look down the throat, you'll see tiny red worms in the trachea or throat as they are slinging them out when they shake their heads
(and consequently infecting the other birds). I doubt with the swollen eyes, that this is parasitic though.
90% sure it'll be a mycoplasma problem
