Coryza, I was wondering......

Going on the 3rd day of shots. Drinking but the eating still concerns me. I made them scrabbled eggs last night and tried to get some down them. But they refused. For being so sick they have a lot of fight in them. LOL. Gasping isn't as bad, but just a little bit.
They don't move around very much.

Here is them now. This is about what they do all day.

I watched the video. Might be mycoplasma synoviae (MS), just a guess though. You can refer to the link I provided in Post #3 to read about MS. You might want to contact your county extension agent or state agriculture department and ask how to go about getting your birds tested.

#rd day and not much progress. Don't know if I should keep the treatment up?? I guess I'll wait for the wormer to come and try that. If that doesn't work not sure what to do with them.

You can use insulin syringes w/ needle attached OR use 22guage one. Shots are given in the meaty part of the breast on either side of the keel bone.
IF you have a problem hanging on to birdie take an old T-shirt cut a hole where the breast would be exposed, and wrap that around the entire birdie to hold them.. You can hold the legs down with the T-shirt pinned between your legs or get a helper. Its amazing how much fight the little buggers can have.......
