So far ours is under $300. We have a 8x8 coop with 100sq.ft +/- run. Some material was salvaged, the rest was purchased at Home Depot. There is a lumber yard - like for contractors or something, that I drive by daily. I noticed that behind it are piles of wood. I saw a fella by the gate and asked about the materials. He said, sure take them, they are the "off cuts" . Made me happy
