Cost???

Is it worth $1000 for a 10' X 12' coop? Made with PT wood. Would I ever recover cost? Or would I recover it in self satisfaction and pleasure/

Doubt it would be worth it financially, as in recovering costs. For me, it would be worth it for the personal (pleasure/satisfaction) aspects. We put more than that into ours (including the run) for a much smaller coop...only 6 x 8. And I don't regret a penny we spent.

I have way less than that in my chicken kingdom. The run is 10x20 with exterrior coop and nest boxes. We used a lot recycled materials. It isn't the prettiest thing but it isn't the worse ever seen either. My flock of nine seem to be healthy and happy!
