Coturnix breeds

The usual way to know the breed is to ask the breeder. Sorry, I couldn't resisit. The Texas A&M is a variety of the Coturnix quail species. Here is a link that may be of interest to you. The Texas A&M differs from the English white as it was selectively bred by the University of Texas A&M to be a larger quail. Here is another link to a document by Dr. Fred Thornberry, the lead professor that developed the Texas A&M quail.
