Coturnix Colors?

There seems like a million names for colorations/mutatiions of Coturnix...I will post a list here of the basic colorations and some rarer...

Tuxedo....can be a black, red, brown, or platinum bird with white stomach and face.

Golden.....can be either regular sized or jumbo....also goes by Italian and Manchurian.

Brown......can be either regular sized or jumbo....mainly goes by Wild, Pharoah, or Jumbo Brown.

Ginger......goes by many names.....Fawn, Cinnamon, Red Golden, etc. I stick with Fawn/Ginger.

Red..........this is a coloration I breed..and am one of the few that does...they are a Cinn x Range bird.

White.......can be either regular sized or jumbo.....either English White if small....or "Texas A&M" if jumbo bird with light flesh.

Tibettan......also goes by many names.....Black, Range, Rosetta, etc. I usually call them based on coloration. The bird itself is a black Coturnix basically but they have varying shades of colorations. Rosetta has a little more red/orange in it....Black is usually a double factor bird showing no white....Range is usually a mix of both sometimes with some white.

Hope this helps...I have pictures of almost every coloration if you want.

You mention platnium on tuxedo but not the list. Platnium is it's own color though? or is it a name thing again?

Sorry there are a lot of colorations not on there as well. This is just a list of common colorations and some not. Platinum really doesn't exhist in this country...I'm working at that though. There are regular Platinum as well. I also forgot Golden A&Ms...which is a Texas A&M/English white with golden markings instead of brown. Few other color combos as well. But we are up to brink as far as color combos go in this country without a blue/silver bird.
