Coturnix - How the heck do you introduce new birds to each other?

i found with my quail if i put more then 10 in at time they do fine i guess its to many for them to worry about we have about 40 to 60 per pen . we do the same with chickens to seems the more you have the less problums.

Putting the new and old birds in an entirely new pen can sometimes work, as the established ones tend to lose their superior pecking order position.
