Coturnix in Central South Carolina

Hey Guys,
I have a few questions about Coturnix. My 12 y/o is wanting to raise some in our back yard. Will they be too noisy for our neighbors? We're looking at maybe 4 birds total.

Does anyone have any available in central South Carolina?

They could be to noisy for the neighbors, but sometimes you have to say...what.

On the loud meter, coturnix are an 8.5. Loud but generally not much louder than any native species of birds.

Close neighbors generally smell your birds before they hear them.

My neighbor thinks there are two hundred mockingbirds in my trees. If he would just ask...

Oh yeah!! Craigslist...duh!
Well if they get too noisy we can take them out to my dads in the country...he's got plenty of chickens and turkeys.
As far as smell...they can't say anything as they never clean up after their dogs
