I posted this in the rehoming section, then realized there's a whole separate forum here just for quail discussions. Very cool! Sorry if you see this twice tho.

Two single male Coturnix quail are in need of PET-only homes in Northern California. They are very nice boys.

Also needing a pet-only home is a lovely male/female pair. This couple seems quite bonded, and want to go to their new home together.

Message me privately if you'd be interested. All are genuinely nice birds. Thanks!

Here are some pics of the pair. The female is the lighter one, missing feathers due to overbreeding by the males. The two bachelor males have since been separated from the pair.

In all, there are 4 quail needing a new home. 3 males and 1 female. It is preferred that the female and her favorite male go together.

Your birds would be better off if you put ask the males together & the female by her self or each by their self. Your lucky they haven't already killed each other from mating.

Not to be mean. But your birds would be much better off in a cooker then they would be keep in these conditions. Even having only the males together in this small of numbers will cause them to over mate killing each other. They will stay alive by their self but they will be stressed.

It is hard to get established bird owners to take live birds because of diseases. They just have to much to lose & it is impassable to know a bird is clean.

Thank you for your feedback and concern. These birds were found running the streets by different individuals and brought into rescue care. They've received health checks, and are now seeking permanent adoptive homes.
