Little Flower is so cute. Took Alby to school today. lol. She dosn't exactly seem traumatised. About 20 five year olds were poking and prodding her. So she did pretty well not pecking anyone.

Alby layed her first egg today. She is about 10-11 weeks old. Is that late? I mean the egg is small even in quail terms. I'm so proud of not so little anymore Albert

It all depends on how much light they get during the day so I wouldn't worry too much. Most quail are great with kids. If she laid an egg today she can't be too traumatised! My husband took in our baby quail to show off to my daughter's class (when they were babies) and some of the kids were scared!

Lol how could they be scared

"Fawn" (Golden/Pharaoh cross), 3 weeks old today. He and his sister are so mellow, they are both included in about 10 chicks from this hatch that don't mind being handled. All three of my Silver Tuxedos are in that group.

Alby finally has future friends. 16/18 pretty good, unfortunately 2 yellows died 1 well hatching, and the others yolk sac burst. So, my siblings named them. The tuxedo is Bandit. There's a yellow one named... yellow by my 4 year old sister. A little pharoah called lightning and thats all. I litterlly had to beg my parents to let them live inside. So the colours: 2 tibetian, 1 tuxedo, 1 pharoah,
the rest are goldens and texas A&Ms
