coturnix quail chicks dry dirty head

Hi I've hatched my first coturnix quail chicks. They're very happy in the brooder. They're 2 & 3 day's old. 1 or 2 have dry stuff on their heads. I think it's left over egg albumen - should I clean it and how would I? It looks very dry hard now - thanks

It's the one right at the bottom - eating drinking etc all normal

It's really hard to see with the red light, but I would leave it alone. If it's egg, it will come out on its own. The chicks will start getting their wing feathers in a few days, and the rest will follow pretty quickly.

That's great thank you - yes sorry about the red light - forgot to turn it off!
