Coturnix Quail Colour Mutations

Ive done a few threads on thos before but i never really understood and the different genes ( recessive,Fatal etc...) and i was wondering if you guys could explain to me how to make different colours by cross breeding different colours
for example... If you have a japanese quail how do you dilute it so the colours arent as bold????
And how do you get a Texas a and m to have golden markings on its back??
Or what colours you have experimented with and what new colours have you made ??

Not sure I breed Pharo to silver and the hatch I got today gave me a golden I believe

Breed a Texas am to a golden bird you should have it if u breed ur Texas to a Tibetan ill get tuxedoes u can not guarantee that u will get the colouring on the back but u can guarantee you will get the gold on the white or vise versa

you got goldens because silvers are golden based blues... ony have a 50% chance of passing on the blue gene, otherwise you get their base colour which is golden
