I have a turner in my incubator and am wondering if it would be better for the chicks if I remove the turner on the 14th day and place eggs on a towel on top of the rack? I thought this may be better for the hatchlings trying to walk around on the turner, but I am concerned that it will interrupt their hatching. Thoughts?

You can leave the turner in for the hatch, but I'd take it out to avoid any of the chicks slipping and getting splayed. Don't worry about disrupting their progress, I use a completely different incubator for the last 3 days, the transfer doesn't bother them.
