I am getting 36 jumbo coturnix quail eggs to incubate and need some help first time with quail I've had experience with chickens and turkeys

1) how many days
2) when to start lockdown
3) temperature
4) humidity
5) humidity for lockdown
Thanks in advance

hey! if i remember correctly try to keep the temps at the high 90s and below 106 and for humidity i just left a little cap full of water which was sufficient, between 14 and 18 days is usual hatch time and lock down on day 14 i believe i hope this helps

my current quail was incubated by a dove but towards the end placed in an incubator (chickbator ) with a top full of water for humidity and left it alone and he hatched out great

1. 18 days
2. Day 14
3. 99.5 forced air. 101-102 still air taken at top of eggs.
4. Open for discussion. What works for me might not work for you. I try for 25 to 35 incubation. Some have luck with 40 to 50 percent.
5. I raise to 65 to 75 for hatch.

This is what I'd do temp am humidity for turkey and chicken eggs. I just set 17 jumbo quail yesterday.

So this is what I'm gonna try with this batch of quail.
