coturnix stopped laying

i had 6 coturnix quail, 3 male and 3 female, i was getting 2 to 3 eggs a day. i noticed the males were getting a little rough with the females so i culled them. since then the 3 females have stopped laying eggs. is this normal? when will they start back up? is there anything i can do?

Any change will affect the females and individuals disappearing, despite the fact that the males were causing trouble, is a big change. Hopefully in a couple of weeks at most they will be all back to laying you beautiful eggs.

thank you, they do seem way more relaxed without the males

they are better without a male unless you get a gentle nature male, but if he has lots of girls then that will keep him busy.
they will lay again soon.
