First noticed dec 28th. Slight occasional kind of cough. Breathing was slightly labored. Consulted with vet. Treated Immediately with Tylan Soluble, no change after a week of use, coughing got worse/more frequent. Never a discharge or mucous, good color in wattles. Wormed with Safeguard and Advantage Multi due to suspected Gape Worm. Nothing has helped. I have visually inspected her mouth when first suspecting gapeworms and saw nothing. Suspecting foreign body now.. not sure what else to suspect.
I did inspect her mouth again a few minutes ago and there is alot of brown in there that wasnt there a few days ago and an odor it should not have. Crop is empty, trachea is very solid ( firm/on the hard side). I am going to try to get her into the vet today. I have tried giving her soft food and she goes at it eagerly but after a bite or 2 shakes her head and wipes her beak like she is trying to clear it.
Any suggestions I can take to the vet would be greatly appreciated.

Wanted to add... Mixed flock. 6-2 yr old hens..1 turkey hen..7 couple of month old chicks. No one is sick..closed flock since first purchased original chicks.. Turkey is almost 2yrs. Eating Dumor lay pellets..6 grain scratch and flock raiser crumbles (they get into thechicks feed). Free range within the fenced 1/2 acre.
