Good morning everyone!
Recently i have noticed that my chickens have started coughing they use to only sneeze we treated with some medicine but i guess it didn't help at all since fast forward to now they are coughing!! One of my roosters sounds to have alot of flem in his chest when i picked him up.
This is our first flock so we aren't familiar with what all to give in this case...
i need help to get them back and healthy 😭😭

Hi, what medicine did you give them?

I'd check around their area too, as sometimes if something got moldy or dusty, that can cause sneezing and coughing.

You could give them a vitamin boost by putting Poultry Cell in their water for a couple of days.

Sometimes chickens get sneezes or coughing and in a few days they get over it themselves. When it lasts more than a few days and seems like it's not getting better, they should get an antibiotic. I had gotten amoxicillin once (Fishmox) back when Chewy could sell it, and it worked on one hen I had that wasn't shaking whatever she caught.

Here's one place to get an antibiotic: https://jedds.com/products/tylosin-powder

Here's another: Twin City Poultry https://www.twincitypoultrysupplies.com/

I hope they get over this! Be sure to let us know.
