Could 10 month old EE be molting?

I have a EE that was born at the end if March and over the last week her feathers are dropping and as you can see her neck feathers are thin and new ones are coming in.

Everything I've read says they are much older before molt. I'm in NC and weather has been all over the place...today 50, tomorrow night 19 degrees.

She's active, waiting great, hasn't been laying for the past month (same for our other EE).

Any ideas?

I agree it looks like a molt. I have one going through a second molt as she molted a few months back. She's doing fine at our negative degree temperatures. I noticed she molting more slower as to not be naked. I wouldn't worry.
 
Okay, good to hear! She's a sweetie and fly's in me when I enter the coop area. Just haven't found info on them molting so young.
