So my eggs are on day 20 of incubating & have all been wiggling. Only one (out of 3) has pipped so far. I was just wondering if a chick could pip on the under side of an egg where you wouldn't be able to see it or if they always pip at the top? Sorry if this sounds dumb but it is my first time making it this far with incubating. They have all been sitting unturned since day 18 so they should have already gotten into the right position right?

By underside, you mean the side laying down and not the small end?
If you mean the side laying down, then yes. I have had several do that either by nature or because they got kicked around by a hatched chick. Always great to have one start unzipping that you didn't know had even pipped yet.
