Could a raccoon open this?

Finishing up a project of reinforcing an inherited run/coop and I realized I hadn't thought about this closure. It is not super easy for ME to open, but I know raccoons are wily so I wanted to be sure.

You have to slide the metal up and then you can push the hook out of the eye. Is this something a raccoon could do? Should I replace it with something that has a screw-on carabiner?
thanks!

I had raccoons up until I was grown so let me tell you, they are somethin something. Did not see hook had slide lock sorry. Here is what we use on all of our coops. You actually have to pull wire piece up and over that bolt and then there is a notch where it sits.
If your wondering about other hook, hubby put the other piece on wall so I can keep it open while cleaning.

I have read many times on BYC that the hook and eye with the additional slide lock is perfectly fine for predator protection. That is what I use on my coop windows (when they’re closed.) I do have HC as screen.

I use these around the lid to my nesting box, they have worked well so far. Although I noticed they were coming loose (by fault of how we installed them on the nest box) So I added a hasp latch as extra protection. We have lots of predators in our area, raccoon, possum, mink, weasel....so far they hooks have done well

I have those on my hail shutters on the coop. A raccoon cannot open them, but FYI they do wear down and get easier and easier to manipulate, until the spring is just gone.

We have these on the egg door of our coop and so far raccoons haven't gotten in. However, I can't say for sure they couldn't open these because I don't think they've tried to get in through that door yet. We monitor our coop with wildlife cameras to keep on eye on things, and I haven't seen any messing with that door so far. My opinion is that they wouldn't be able to open these, but I always tell people that it's not possible to be sure if something is 100% predator proof until you know for a fact that the predator has tried to get in and failed.
