I would like to introduce you to Chick1 & Chick2 of my 2nd ever hatch (4 weeks apart). These two are about 20 hours early. I am so in love.

Ahhh chicken love. I know it well. I'm in love myself with the 3 I hatched last week, have 2 more in the lockdown bator due any time now and a whole bator full off eggs still turning. And I dunno what I was thinking when I went to Rural King yesterday and came home with 8 new chicks to add in with my 3 already hatched. Those 8 feel like step-chickens to me lol. Definitely different love when you hatch them yourself!

VERY different type of love! You don't know how glad I was when I read what you posted. I felt like a horse's rear for not loving my TSC chicks like I do the ones that I incubated and hatched myself!!! They're 4 weeks old today and tomorrow, and I get that tight "love" knot in my chest whenever I think about them.

I haven't hatched any myself, but really want to. I have been checking out incubators and reading all the threads about hatching. I can't wait to try it.

Congratulations! X very cure! Hope to see them when they all dry & fluffed up :-)
Thank you!!! And, believe me, you will see lots of fluffy chick pix! Lol

Nova, be careful. Once you start, it's SO HARD to stop!!! I've only had chickens since January & this is my 2nd hatch exactly 4 weeks after the first. Not knowing anything at all, I just have the LG9200. No fan. No turner. A royal PAIN to keep temps regulated and controlling humidity is a joke. Yet I had an 82% success rate for hatch 1, and am doing pretty well with hatch 2 so far. For some reason, with both hatches, I have had 4 (at least) hatch a day early. Healthy little things, though. :)
