Could it be...Spring?!

It's pretty unusual here, too. March is suppose to be one of the snowiest months for us. Usually by St. Patrick's Day there is still snow on the ground. But I guess this year we're going to have Spring earlier than usual!

I love having Spring come early, but my dad says we're going to pay for it later on (with an unusually hot summer).

Oh I have spring fever sooo bad ... I feel like it is right on the edge. It is still rainy and cold (40's high) in the mountains and I haven't seen the sun in a week (ho hum). Hard to get motivation with this kind of weather and I have so much to do building the coop and run for my young chicks.

But the good news is Jason and I see Robins today !!! Jason said that means spring is coming (he is from the North = Titusville PA and knows these things better then we a Fla girl where there are only to seasons Humid hot summer and Humid cool pseudo winter).

So based on the yard FULL of Robins we have today I'd say .... Spring has sprung here in the NC Appalachian mountains!!!!
