I know everyone always asks about breeds and gender. We hatched 3 eggs from a friends flock. All 3 of my chickens have grown to look nothing like any of the original flock. I really believe I have 3 roosters. ther is one for sure cause he crows. The one pictured is possibly my second rooster. It is 13 weeks old and hatched from a XL egg which we knew it was gonna be a big bird. Very shy, quiet, and has not crowed at all. The tail screams roo. Am I right by thinking this is a roo also. if you have any guesses on breed too.

Yes, it is 100% a cockerel.

He's a cockerel. The tail isn't the teller though. His comb/wattles and male specific saddles and coloration are.
