could Marek's disease happen out of the blue and a year later?

I have posted symptoms regarding a Banty rooster and someone said it could sound like Marek's disease....my question is to anyone who has familiarity with this? Several things...This Banty came here last August, as did any of the latest additions to the flock. No one has been added or some since then... Is it possible for it to not happen for 9 months and just start out of the blue?

Yes, but it could be a lot of things. Chickens have a lot of issues where neurological symptoms factor in. Doesn't necessarily have to be Mareks.
