Hello goose lovers! I am fairly new to raising geese. I have 2 chinese and 4 embdems. When I brought the chinese home, one of them had a blue band around his ankle and I assumed that it was because he was the male. That was the last week of this past April, making him 3 months old. Today I brought all of them out to a pond and after awhile of them playing around, Lucy, my 'female' started grabbing an Embden by the neck and hopped on (sort of like a rooster mating a hen). There was lots of screaming by the Embdens and then 'she' got off and i saw something coming out of the poop shoot. So... is my Lucy a boy??? Could I possibly have 2 male chinese? Also, recently my 'Lucy' has gotten a lot more aggressive with certain people and I was wondering why??!!! Any thoughts????? Please! :)

If you saw the corkscrew you have a gander. and the reason your seeing the aggression is because ganders are very protective of their mates. It's very natural. I'll get you the goose training link. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/561849/geese-training
