Could rotten egg affect others?

I had a rotten egg in my incubator. I didn't know it was rotten. I'm incubating both chicken and duck eggs at the same time, and was thinking the smell was coming from the duck eggs since I've never done them before. After it was secreting some funky stuff I removed it from the incubator. Now my eggs are about a week behind their due date and I'm starting to think the rotten egg could have affected the others? Could this happen? I have candled them since and they still seem to be developing but I'm not 100% sure.

If the eggs are a week past their due date I would be getting rid of them or did you meen that they still have a week before they hatch?. As long as the rotten egg didn't exploded your other eggs should have been fine

Yes sorry, I meant the eggs are a week past the due date. The egg didn't exploded but was secreting some funky stuff. I candled them and it looks like they are still going but I'm not 100% sure.
