This is Nugget, she's not the prettiest silkie in the world but she is loved even more so because of her quirky looks and personality. She eats pretty well despite her beak. Nugget hatched some time in May I think, though am not 100% sure.

I'm positive that she is a hen, she's not laid yet but hasn't crowed either. She looks like a hen to me, even with some stringy feathers at the top of her head which I believe is seen in silkie roosters, I put it down to her just not being a great example of her breed. I also suspect sometimes she may be a little bit not all there.
However my mum saw her mounting another hen.

Could it be possible that Miss Nug is actually Mr Nug who hasn't developed properly?
