LOL, my daughter does that with little chicks too. She always has a couple that once they get into her hand, they just flip on their backs themselves to get the tummy rub. And yep, they just crash, lights out!

We're not 100% sure but I think she's our EE. Her feet are nearly black. Our barred rock(possibly?) has grey feet. Everyone else has little pinkish orange piggies.​

I don't think your grey-footed one is a barred rock though.

I have barred rocks, and even though they have that dark wash-like covering on the front of their legs and the tops of their feet, the underlying color is very pale/yellowy/peachy (whatever color that is).

Although, the dark coloring is more prominent on some of them than this one in the picture.

I have barred rocks, and even though they have that dark wash-like covering on the front of their legs and the tops of their feet, the underlying color is very pale/yellowy/peachy (whatever color that is).

You're right, the grey is mostly on the tops of her feet but it's alot darker and more of a solid grey than yours. After I read your question, I went to the brooder and asked everyone to stand up and show me their feet because I couldn't remember who had the dark feet. I didn't check the underside. But she does have the white spot on her head like the other pics of barred rock chicks I've seen.

I do have at least one who is very grey on the tops of the feet, but i didn't use that picture. So it might be.
