Could that be pasty-butt?

Hi Friends,

i got 10 new ducklings delivered today, nine are doing great, one is not doing so well. She is weak doesn't eat and seem to have some pain in her belly. I looked at her back-end and am asking myself if that looks like pasty-butt?

Run her bum under warm water gently rubbing till it loosens
Be careful once you clear the way she may have a large runny poo

i cleaned her "butt" from the poop, until i found her vent, it looks like she has a naval infection.

If it’s dried then it probably is. You can try gently Washing in some nice warm water

her naval looks red and swollen. i have applied triple antibiotic ointment an hold her in my hand to keep her warm

How old is she ?
She still looked wet in the picture. The belly itself looks red and swollen for a good few hours after they absorb
Did she have a poo after you got it cleaned off ?

Just down from the belly in the feathers looks dark
Is she still blocked at the bottom ? She must have just hatched ?
