Could that be pasty-butt?

she was pushed into the waterer by her sisters, that's why she is wet.
she is significantly smaller than the others, 38 grams compared to over 50 grams.
her vent is clean - i found it when cleaning her up.
i assume she is a late hatch and got pushed around in the box.
at the moment she has some triple antibiotics on her belly and is snuggled between my belly and my left hand - that's why i can only write in lower case...
i'm trying to keep her warm , dry up and then i will try to feed her some mashed up duckling starter. What do you think about that?

To keep them from getting wet and playing in the water
You can make a small dish with holes they can dunk their heads but not swim in
I use a butter container at first then go to a bigger one as the beak grows and they get taller
Just cut small holes in the lid

Thank you very much! - I know that, but i never ever had a problem with a wet duckling before. I use that kind of waterer since 2019 and yes, the ducklings get wet, but in that way they also learn how to preen themselves.

The little one was just very weak and cold, not fully fluffed up. Now after a couple of hours in some warm hands she is doing much better.

Def want to keep her from getting wet right now.
She has almost completely fluffed up by now, is alert, eats, wants to snuggle and her belly does no longer feel hard. She is definitely not out of the woods for now, but much better. In the morning i gave her a 30% chance, now i think it is closer to 75%.
She needs to make it through the night...
