Could these be silkies?

I mean like they could possibly be mixed with something else, like a Cochin Silkie mix sort of thing. I’m sorry if part isn’t the right word to describe it. I corrected it to say what I originally meant, I apologise for any confusion.

I understand now. However, they look pure to me, and are from a feed store. What makes they think they’re mixes?

I just find it easier to warn people that there is a chance they may be mix’s since they’re feathers haven’t come in yet. Sometimes when the feathers come in they aren’t Silkie feathers people can get upset about the fact that “you lied to them”. I just find it easier to try and avoid conflict.

Also, silkies have black skin and 5 toes!

Yeah they have an extra toe but I thought it was a spur!

Spurs don't grow in until around 6-8 months of age. Silkies are supposed to have 5 toes.

Oh yes, they were the only ones aside from some other bantams left
