I wondering if my chicks could possibly be sexlinked?
For the past few weeks I have been hatching out bantam easter eggers...I have been using a white bantam cochin roo and a silverlaced bantam cochin roo over bantam lavender ameraucanas.
I have hatched about 20 or so chicks out of this mix and out of all of them every male was born like an off white and then developes alot of red leaking through the feathers and every female has been born black.
Is this even possible at all or just a coincidence? I have several hatching as I type...
