I have 4 new black copper Maran chicks and 4 black australorp chicks. Out of the 8 total, 4 have a light layer of feathers going down one side of each leg. The legs of the others are completely clean. They are 5 days old. Love love love!

I bought these as day old black australorp chicks but they look more like Black Copper Maran to me. Can anyone help me figure it out? It's kind of fun to get different chicks than expected but only if you weren't counting on a certain breed
