Could this be a black copper marans?

So I picked up this pullet at the auction today but can't remember the breed they said. Black copper marans seemed most likely from our googling. Any speculation on age?

Sorry for the bad pics; we're super new at this and she's not as tame as our other birds.

It's a Black Copper Marans pullet; I'm thinking around four months old.

I think that she's a Black Copper Marans, too. Probably around 12-16 weeks old.

I think you have about 1 1/2 to 2 months to go before you get your first egg from her.

Update: I always wonder what happens after the last post in some of these threads. General (Tso) has grown into a lovely, albeit goofy, hen. She overcame a bad case of fowl pox and hasn't laid yet, but she did dig out a nest this morning.

It always surprises me how they go from adorable chick to ugly pullet then become a beautiful hen. Thanks for posting the update!
