Could this be from rooster, picking, or parasites?

It is not just one hen! It is 5 but all of them are not missing feathers on rear. Do you think rooster is just too rough? I've seen pix of it being from rooster but it was just on the back and not on rear. So rooster will cause them to lose feathers there too?

I have the same problem with my wyanndottes I've seperated the rooster for a week now and no signs of improvements is there a salve or anything I can do to help the healling it is on all four of my hens?

Ok I don't know how to use the quote but there are 5 hens to 1 rooster. I know about the back getting feathers pulled out but if you look real close you can see the pinkish area in the rear end. These are my mother-in-law's chickens and she thinks it is the rooster doing it but I am wondering if it is picking. I'm thinking the rooster may have started it and a hen or some of them are doing the rest. The hens have been this way for months! Possibly since last year! I guess it's nothing serious? No reduction in laying. I will definitely tell her about the saddles. So how long will it take to grow feathers back?
