Could this egg come from this hen?

Exciting news - I got my first egg today! It was adorably tiny, and peachy colored. The only problem is, the hen I think who laid the egg should be laying blue eggs. Now, I didn’t see her actually lay, but she’s my only young hen who has shown interest in using the laying boxes. In fact, this morning when I went out to throw them veggies she was a no-show, which makes me think she was definitely laying. She usually comes running over for food time. Anyway, she was sold to me as a chick as a cream legbar. Kind of hard to see in this picture but she does have a crest. So, is she just not a cream legbar, or did another hen lay this (I have a group of 6 different breeds)?

She is a cream legbar. If she is from a poor strain she may not lay blue eggs.
What breed(s) are your other pullets?

Her coloring is quite brown. Is it possible she's mixed? CLB should be more gray with a cream based hackle.

You could also post pics of the combs on all your birds. Sometimes hens don't always have 'signs' that they are laying. They just do it!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that might be an Olive Egger. More specifically, Cream Legbar X Welsummer. And from what I hear, OEs don't always lay the desired olive egg, instead opting for brown.

Congrats on the adorable egg! The color a pullet lays can change a bit over time, in my experience, but probably not from peachy tan to sky blue. Your suspect has the comb and wattle development to be laying.
